NYA Derailment

Its sad,but true. An NYA train derailed in Holtsville today. Anyone know the numbers or got pics? lirr415-Peter

God, nothing that bad. Two trucks derailed on some stone hoppers. Rerailed in about an hour, once everyone got there. No crane necessary.

Someone told me it was on WCBS. I only saw LIRR personel near the American Lumber Switch. It looked like alot of hype over nothing. Usually if is something interesting there is alot more departments on hand. Give us something to talk about...

When did that savagery occur at Hicksville Yard? What were the circumstances?
