I'm sure some of you attended this weekend's subway fest on the Brighton line and would agree that the MTA and NY Transit Museum really outdid themselves putting on a terrific display of trains. BU's, Lo-V's, Triplexes, Arnines and the SMEE train of many colors were on hand. Regrettably the Triplexes had mechanical issues, so no one rode them and they were absent on Sunday.

Great shots in the gallery Fred, thanks for sharing!

Back in the mid-1970s, I was in the Coast Guard, on a cutter homeported on Governors Island. Had an uncle who lived near Marine Park and would ride the Brighton Line to Kings Highway so this was familiar territory. Haven't been back since I attended my uncle's funeral, but your photos reminded me of some of the better times. :-)
