At long last – the new book, Rails to Trails: Rochester Junction Then and Now by Diane Ham & Charles Woolever is available for purchase. It’s a beautiful 182-page book with many illustrations, maps, color & b/w photos, with a full index. Proceeds benefit The Mendon Foundation. It’s available at our eBay store.

The book is a fascinating history of Rochester Junction in Mendon, NY that chronicles the area’s days as a key stop on the Lehigh Valley Railroad, through its conversion to a rail-trail by the Mendon Foundation and Monroe County Parks.

Only $20!

See link at top for links to purchase and samples pages. The book can also be found at the museum in Honoeye Falls.

I have this book in hand! Looking forward to reading this "deep dive" into Rochester Junction as soon as I can (tonight, maybe?).

There is a link to the eBay store of the Mendon Foundation to purchase. I asked and eBay is NOT taking their usual cut on this since the Mendon Foundation is registered as a charity-- good to know!
