I might be taking a trip out toward Boston, MA the end of October, and was hoping there would be something trolley related to do out that way. I did a quick google search and came up with the Lowell Museum. Any reviews? I did a quick scan of the posts here and did not see anything, please redirect me if I missed it. Any recommended trolley stops while in Boston?
Thanks

Uh, well, you can ride the MBTA commuter rail to Lowell and ride the trolley out there... let's see, trolley related things to do in Boston... hrm... oh, I know!! You could go ride the trolley!! ;-) And it's a real working trolley, not a museum... though the exhibits and ride in Lowell is worth checking out, too. But Lowell and Boston are not exactly right around the corner...

Also, any of the light rail Green Line trains might also interest you as well:

You could spend the better part of a day at Lowell,
i.e. there are tours of the old factories, cannel gate equipment & of course the open bench trolleys (2). The ride runs along the cannels ... it's very nice.

Boston, devote a whole day & ride all the colors ... green, blue, red orange, etc.
Get a day pass, see the Constitution (a ship :-), ride the green line to Riverside, etc.
I stayed in a bed & breakfest on Beacon Street (on the Green line).

You should explore our Articles more often... or the MBTA's web site! ;-)
