Well, its over 100 items this month! Lots of Sanborn maps, new ticket sections, and a new page of 1996 Track Profile maps: http://www.trainsarefun.com/lirr/lirrtr ... 201994.htm NEW PAGE of 1994 LIRR Track Profile Maps also placed on the specific pages.

Break out a few cold ones and read on!
Steve - As usual this is a labor of love following the LIRR from Florida as you do...
I will add for the Greenport photos - is that the two-car train pictured in 1973 is NOT the "Scoot"...
On weekends a two-car train operated through from Jamaica - This may have been an off-season
run...The true weekday-only Ronkonkoma-Greenport "Scoot" was the one with the single car...
The RMLI admission ticket was dated June 30 - exactly one year ago today - I sent this item to you...
Your monthly updates are always interesting...MACTRAXX

I came across this great high-def drone video from January 2021 of ex-LIRR Alco S1 419 working in Ohio. Judging by the smoke and the amount of effort she needed to move those grainers, I wonder if she's still alive and kicking today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5oeNKqZ8zI

There was also a picture of her from 2016 posted on railpictures today.

None of these pictures/videos are mine so all credit goes to the owners.
