I will add for the Greenport photos - is that the two-car train pictured in 1973 is NOT the "Scoot"...
On weekends a two-car train operated through from Jamaica - This may have been an off-season
run...The true weekday-only Ronkonkoma-Greenport "Scoot" was the one with the single car...
The RMLI admission ticket was dated June 30 - exactly one year ago today - I sent this item to you...

I came across this great high-def drone video from January 2021 of ex-LIRR Alco S1 419 working in Ohio. Judging by the smoke and the amount of effort she needed to move those grainers, I wonder if she's still alive and kicking today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5oeNKqZ8zI
