The Yahoo GuilfordRailSightings and Eastern Railroad News websites for 06-26 are carrying reports of a washout somewhere near MP 460 -- inside the Schaghticoke boundaries -- and resulting pig/rack detours via Worcester.

I don't know where the washout is, but they are definitely detouring over the B&A via Worcester. The eastbound was on duty this morning, with NS power. Get your pics in Palmer guys.

The westbound is already past Selkirk.

I saw the 206 hammering eastbound through West Deerfield this afternoon, so I'd guess the washout has been repaired to some extent...

It has been reported on many other internet sites that the washout has been fixed, and trains are running on the West End.
