I photographed CA-20 heading east through Moorestown Monday afternoon with three locomotives.

People who spoke to the crew later in Hainesport said that the nose-to-nose NS and CSX units were to be spotted near Marne Highway for some kind of Conrail-NS-CSX happening on Tuesday.

Sure enough, Tuesday morning they were adjacent to the Marne Highway grade crossing.

The engineer had to operate CSX GP38-2 2788 long hood forward on Monday's eastbound trip, and NS GP38-2 5221 long hood forward on the westbound trip. I suspect 5221 has dual control stands, though.

The N.J. Shortline Association is the organization that had CSAO place the locomotives nose-to-nose for a photo op. A banner with their logo and another icon with CR, NS, and CSX on it was placed between the locos for the photo op.
