Massachusetts Central Railroad, in a nod to the Boston & Maine, has had their GP38-2 #1750 repainted in a style inspired by the McGinnis-era "Bluebird" GP9s, as seen in this photo by Mark Mautner:

According to Railfan & Railroad, it was painted at Mid-America Car in Kansas City, MO, and is one of two.

The lettering on the long hoods definitely improves their looks: http://photos.greatrails.net/s/?p=209833" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
