What did the RR ever do with the cars,
did they scrap them, convert them to reguler m-1's, sell them.

intresting peice of equpt, would of loved to have seen them.

I believe all turbo;s were scrapped by 1985

Given how easy it is to get the US DOT to give you money to stick a jet engine into anything on rails, I'm amazed the MTA hasn't revived the idea for experimental DMUs based on the M-7s. What the heck, if NY state isn't paying for it, why not? (Well, besides it being a stupid idea that never works right...)
