here come the layoffs again

Well there starting to cut back here in Kansas City. We got some people heading back to the AW board. How's it looking across the system?

Big time cuts in Iowa again... All the people that were called back and then some.

Haven't cut anybody in Chicago yet, but the boards are really fat. I'll keep you all updated.

yeah they called back a ton and now they cut back more than they called. so much for all this business they were projecting.

Haven't cut anyone off in FT Worth Service unit, got about 30 going through new hire class right now.

Well there up to about 75 cut off in KC. There's even talk about capping the AW board now.

How bad is it going to be my husband just got his hire date for training session for train crew but they had said they have 50 some odd on part time or furlough so we are a bit worried about going into training and letting go of the job we have only to end up on unemployment. I don't understand why there are new hires when they have men willing and ready to work. Can anyone help to shed some light on this and maybe let us know what to expect the job posting guaranteed full time work....
