Hi All,

I'm looking for any & all photos of the Harlem Transfer Company including circular freight house, property, locomotives (roster or working), advertising, etc; located at or pertaining to the Harlem Transfer in the Bronx, NY.

Delaware Lackawanna & Western took over this operation in 1906. It was a rail marine terminal with no track connection to trunk / main line RR's. Access was by carfloat only via Harlem River.

Please note, I would like to use any photos offered, my Harlem Transfer page:

So please keep this in mind. All photos used, will be credited to both photographer (if known) and owner / archivist.

This page is one of several on my "Industrial / Terminal Railroads & Locomotives of Brooklyn Queens, Staten Island & the Bronx" website:

I would really appreciate any and all assistance rendered!

Reply via private message, a post here or my email at [email protected]

Thanks, and best to all, Phil

Best I remember were in LACKAWANNA MAGAZINE, but don't remember which issue. Good Luck.
