It's pretty neat tracing the old Millstone Branch ROW from Jersey Avenue's satellite station clear into Millstone.

Many times mapmakers will purposley NOT update a section of a map. This way, if someone steals it and uses it as their own work (copyright infringement) they'll have proof it was theirs.

My favorite online map service is Rand McNally. Their maps are mostly accurate, detailed and color-coded with streets, highways, features and points of interest.
