This has likely made the rounds via Facebook but I’ll post here anyways.

Since my surgery last year and the restrictions I had, I really missed out on a lot of stuff, this included. After the Ohio Yard I peddled up the street and was surprised to see the boxcar sitting on the rails. I took a few photos. Glad to see a restoration rather than an abandonment.

The rails are in the ground from the boxcar to the bumper.

I remember driving by this building alot years ago and always wondered what it had been?
The overhang of the roof - would there have been a siding closer to allow unloading ?

A lot of information online about the ‘Flour by Rail ‘ project and who are the driving forces behind it and their efforts to obtain rolling stock to display.
