What color are FEC locos today? Are they still red and yellow like they were many years ago when it had passenger trains?

The engines are in blue with the hurricane emblem with FEC in it. There are a few with "Florida East Coast' on the side. The SD40's are yellow with Florida East Coast on the side. The only red and yellow locomotive is the 2000 painted from engine 406 for the 2000 milenium.

The SD40-2's are surprisingly "appropriate" looking despite still wearing their UP colors. The FEC lettering looks good on them...and they certainly are a lot brighter than the Geeps.

One thing you can generally count on with a Florida East Coast engine and
that is that it is clean, regardless of age or color.
