Lotta action at night these days. Need some more iron bad.

Thanks for these great reports atholrail. Really speaks to the volumes now being run over the west end. Speaking in generalities it appears ED may be switching 200-300 cars/day with 400-500 cars traversing D3? More than I thought for sure. How much switching is Rigby doing?

It seems like they line them up and space them 10-15 minutes apart, I was assuming this was the result of the new closer block spacing It's not uncommon to see 4-5 trains in one hour heading west on a Sunday night.

ED2 - 353, 511 took the loaded rail train south. Out of ED @ 215PM.

23K - NS 7559, 8445, 8401 and 111 t/cofc thru Deerfield at 320PM.

ED4 - PW 582, 4006 and 30 loads for Mt Tom were out of Deerfield at 330PM.

POED - 505, 373, 370, 350 and 88 cars were into Deerfield at 420PM.

ED6 - 305, 72 working up EDMO, ED190, EDRJ via the east end.

206 - NS 9559, 9001, 9529 and 23 racks were thru Deerfield at 725PM.

EDPL - 351, 352 and 33 cars were out of Deerfield at 735PM.

EDMO - HLCX 8072, 8070 and 25 cars were out of Deerfield at 745PM.

Only 13 miles of new signalling in place. It get's logjammed fast.

A 02-06-2013 0900 +/- legal-access-only ED drive-around showed a non-crammed yard with an MT and unpowered SPSX rail train. The airwaves were also MT except for TCs and the Hump Switcher, which was shy enough to keep out of sight and not mention its numbers. There was power down by the pit and a solo NS unit closer to the old ED-W tower, but no discussions about EBs or WBs making up or expected, and having sufficient evidence that I had regained my ability to repel trains, I became my own EB.

Everything is running at night. There's about 8 trains in an 8 hour stretch in the late afternoon on.

That's what I had figured from atholrail's posts, but I thought I'd try anyways.

22K - NS 9704/8906/7527 and 72 loaded wells were thru ED @ 830PM.

EDMO - HLCX 8072, 354 was ok'd to open up @ 384 to start his double at 1020PM.

ED190 has 32 cars to take east tonight.

Seems they have changed up some OD times...

Those 3 jobs have remained the same.

I was really only referring to 190. Last I knew their OD was 1800, and the last two days I haven't even seen a crew or power for the 190 job up to 2000.

POED - 617, 609, 8070, 608 was working the west end at 430PM.

RJED - 618, 616, 514 and 65 cars were into Deerfield at 515PM. Train on
Greenfield Runner.

ED6 - 305, 3005 working the hump.

22K - NS 6799, 9628, 9835 and 114 T/COFC and 14 loaded racks on the rear, were
thru Deerfield at 650PM.

AD2 - 617, 381 and 43 cars were out of Deerfield at 715PM. 32 VTR/11 locals. D3
really worried about them having to leave their VTR's on the main. Lots of
traffic tonight.

205 - NS 2589, 9119, 9848 and 33 racks were thru Deerfield at 805PM.

POED - 378, 350, 352 and 87 cars are getting yarding instructions now.

So the POED canned at Parkers leapfrogged the POED canned at Athol? Dag!

Only 2 hours? I am suprised it's only that little. The 190 for lack of a better word is the Deerfield whore, with lowest priority on power. They could be getting set back...

EDPO - 3004, 8147, 607 took 72 cars out of Deerfield around mid morning today.

190ED - 7192, 7860 came into Deerfield with 45 cars from the P&W around 4PM. Crew then ran light power to Montague to bring in a canned POED.

BOMO was getting recrewed at Farley's at 5PM.

RJED and 22K were both at Buckland at 5PM. RJED needed 22K to help jump NS 3531.

604, 7014 were on the ready.

514, 347, 613, 505 were on the inbound.

317, 618, NS 9670, 614 were around the pit.
