This is the East St. Louis to Vincennes,IN line which passes, Meyer, Aviston, Breeze, Odin, Iuka, Flora, Olney, Bridgeport, Beeman Blocks
That would be the CSX Illinois Sub. Then you got the NS St. Louis District to the south, also running east-west.

My favorite B&O line. Just think of what little traffic remains on this once great line. Not to long ago (1950's) there were 12 scheduled freight trains a day in both directions, plus locals, and extras. Also a sizable amount of passenger trains. Lets hope this line survives.

CSX operating rules require trains to be identified by leading engine ID and #. Some crews still tend to id by train symbol but this is not proper. Having BNSF, UP or other road power leading is very common as it save time at interchange points, by simply swapping crews and keep the power going to the point of destination. Railroads share power by horsepower hours and loan power to each other and pay back hours in the same manner.
