Boxcar at the head end might be for Extech. Can’t tell, someone graffitied over the ID and number so not sure if it’s an LRS.

Looks like the Southern has always been in rough shape.

John, the Southern was in good shape until the 1960s. Remember the Blue Comet used to run along it at 80 mph in the 1930s.

It’s an LRS car, probably for Extech.

I thought it was rebuilt in the 70's? I have heard it multiple times in this thread that shortly after the Conrail takeover, Conrail rebuilt the whole line.

There was an unrelated accident near the Route 88 Crossing. Car VS PED. It should be cleared up by the time the train comes through.

Btw 31 didn’t pick up the cars in Red Bank. There was an attempt but due to the poor track conditions it was aborted. They might try again on the return trip but nothing is guaranteed.

In other info they should have a car for Extech
