Speaking of the ES-99 does anyone on the list have a few pictures of this train on either the High Bridge Branch or the NJ Cutoff that they are willing to share??

Thanks,
Steve
I'm still a newbie at trains but here's a shot of a Conrail engine on the cutoff.

Just scroll down.

Is this it?

Ken,

Oh boy! That picture pretty much sums it up! That was the VERY last train on the Cutoff during the sad summer of 84. It performed the terrible task of salvage dutyby taking up the rail from Greendell west...

The trains I am referring to ran from E-Port to Scranton from January of 1972 to March 31, 1976. Most of these trains had EL and CNJ engines as it was pooled together for joint service since the CNJ pulled out of Pennsylvania on their OWN trackage. Mostly CNJ SD40's and SD35's were used along with EL SD45's/U36/U33 and alco centuries on rare occasions! Anyone know of any foreign power that could have been used on these trains???

Thanks,
Steve

What about the Gladstone Branch? That, technically, is farther south then the Morris & Essex.
