Does the Miami metrorail and TRI rail uses conductors to assist the motorman inopening/closing doors, looking for signals and etc?

Metro-Rail runs with one person on a train, an operator who for the most
part only pushes a button to close the doors and the ATO actually operates
the train. The operator actually can take over and run the train by use of
a cab signal system and under bad rail conditions or in the case of work
crews on the track or other conditions, this can and will be done.
As for Tri-Rail, they do not employee "motormen". The engineer operates the train, the conductor opens and closes the doors and makes
announcements and the armed guard(s) check tickets enroute and issue
citations for non-compliance with the ticket rules.
