News reports that there was a major fire at the WLE shop last night. No further news yet today.

Reports last evening said it was an all-hands affair with at least 10 mutual aid departments also responding.

Reports from the Brewster FD say that 23 departments responded in mutual aid and that the major problem was gaining access to the roof of the shop building. Damage estimates are at $2,000,000 +; no definite cause established. Best of all: no casualties!
