Boston & Maine Buses

Does anyone know of a good source of any pictures of Boston & Maine buses from the late 40s and early 50s? Color would be helpful but not absolutely necessary. This is to assist on a modeling project. Thanks.

You need to find B&M Bulletin Volume XXII, Number 4 from 2001. It contains about twenty pix of B&M buses from the 20s to the early 50s. A possible source would be Alden Dreyer (alden on ebay).

Did the buses serve towns that were no longer served by B&M passenger trains or were they supplemental?

A little bit of both.

The Seashore Trolley Museum might have photos, check with Ed Ramsdell or Tom Santaeelli. The museum does own an actual B&M bus. A 1949 GMC # 784
