Does anyone out there have any photos of the yards at the AC&F in Berwick? In particular, the yard office? My stepmother's father was once yardmaster there, and I'm looking into modeling it.

Regards,

Scott K.

A detailed aerial photo of the AC&F complex, dating from around 1950, used to be on display in the lobby of the Hotel Berwick at Third and Market Streets. It was taken out some time in the 1970's when the hotel (now abandoned) changed hands. I don't have ay idea what might have happened to it, but I'd try the Berwick Industrial Development Authority, which bought the AC&F complex when the company left town in 1962, as a starting point.

Yeah, and probably the library and or historical society would be able to at least point you in the right direction, too.
