How much of the Bedford & Billerica is still in service? I was driving through Billerica today near the North Billerica station, and crossed over the B&B tracks twice. To my surprise, they had been plowed after the recent storms. Are there any customers?
Billerica and Bedford - now the Billerica Industrial is in service to behind the Middle School (just past Route 129/Salem Road). A distance of about 1.5 miles. The remaining 1/4 mile of track down to Route 3A/Boston Road is overgrown and unusable but not abandoned.
It is used to access the customers on the south side of Iron Horse.
