The Spur is clear of any cars.

CSX Framingham yard is switching at least (4) cars for delivery this week.

1701 is ready for Action !!

Tomorrow is the day for the 1701 to shine...

I'll be checking out 1701 in Millis and the yard in Framingham Sunday AM.

Didn't see any additional NAHX cars being switched in Framingham today.

Looks like 12-15 loads coming soon....The 1701's nap should be short...Maybe Monday.

Also someone told me there was some sort of activity at Union St in Millis...NIMBY's will be all over this...

I'll stop by Union St. this weekend to see what's happening. The crossing is rather rough so maybe its a repair.
Trains haven't crossed over Union St. for (2-3) years.

I'll also check out the Framingham Yard on Sunday to see if any cars are being switched.

Whoops...The 1701 worked today and spotted 15 loads!

Just a new replacement switchstand at the start of the GAF yard. The question remains: why now?

Looks like they changed out the ties that the stand is on as well,wont get buried in the snow during winter,and less likely to
get damaged by an errant snow plow like a ground throw could.

Which would come in handy if a train just hypothetically happened to go over that switch for the first time in...oh, I don't know, 5 years?

We could start a rumor that the GAF distribution building, at the end of the line, has been leased.

Be interesting to see if any other track work has been done there lately..
