Baldwin scrapped

The DS4410 #606 at Eastern Farmers Coop, Corson, SD, is in the process of being cut up for scrap. Currently, the hood has been cut up, and all the copper wiring is gone. Unit was recently sold to a private individual, who is apparently doing the work himself. 606 had been donated to a museum in Sioux City, but they failed to move it, and it wound up going this route instead.

Its too bad this person did not contact SMS in New Jersey as they may have been interested in it for their ever growing collection of Baldwins.
