Look for the September issue of Down East Magazine on newsstands. There is a nice little article about a recent trip over the line on a home-made rig powered by wind or peddle. (Sorry, no online version available)

There is also an article concerning the Calais Brewer line and Eastport branch in todays Bangor Daily News. A little history and a little prodding to get things moving after 19 years of inactivity

RRBUFF,

Any chance you could cut and paste or link said aricle? I can't seem to find it online at their wesbite.

Thanks,
Brooks

They also ran a three part series about the Calais Branch in the Ellsworth American a few weeks back.
