Despite the State of New Hampshire's less-than-supportive attitude toward Amtrak's Downeaster, the train is a big hit with students at the state's largest university:

I'm at UNH...the train certainly seems like a success. I took it home a couple weeks ago on a Friday afternoon and there must have been 30 or more students getting on the same train.
