Not that this post belongs here - but I couldn't figure out where it should go... yesterday I came across a new book at Borders, called "End of the Line" by Kem Parton. It's a railroad-based thriller, written by a former BNSF employee. I haven't gotten too far, but it is certainly technically accurate and is thus far a great read. OK, I'm a little suspicious that the only industry quotes on the dust jacket are from the General Chairmen of the UTU and BLE&T...

I read the excerpt and like others have said, it seems anti-carrier and in places technically inaccurate.
