8 Amtrak Trains in One Day

A few years back, I was dining with a couple from Wilmington, DE, on the southbound Coast Starlight. They informed me that they were on their first ever train trip, a round trip in which they would spend seven nights in a row (in sleeping car accommodations, on board Amtrak:
NEC to New York
Lake Shore Limited to Chicago (1 Night)
Empire Builder to Portland (2 Nights)
Coast Starlight to Sacramento (1 Night)
California Zephyr to Chicago (2 Nights)
Capitol Limited to Washington DC ( 1 night)
NEC to Wilmington.

Have you found out how many points you ended up getting yet ?

I have ridden 6 in one day, Just for the fun of it, that day, I rode 4 acelas and 2 regionals. On Saturday's I will usually ride 3 regional trains
