2016 "Toys For Tots" Train

The 2016 "Toys" train will running,....Dec.3th,NYSW,.....Dec.4th.M&NJ.....Dec.10th and 11th,.M&E,....Stops,Times and equipment information still being put together.

Here is the 2016 "Toys" Train Schedule; Saturday, December 3rd,

Sparta is a new stop this year, and the "new" station is located at 70 Station Road, off Rt.517
After the train is off loaded of toys into trucks for Picatinny Arsenal, the train will continue West to Warwick for the night.

Is the M&E ride on any part of the CNJ High Bridge Branch ?

To answer the post about the High Bridge Branch,...the train stops at Kenvil,Ledgewood and Flanders, all located on the former CNJ High Bridge Branch. This Saturday, Dec 3rd is the first trip on the NYS&W and then on Sunday, the M & NJ,
please support the Marines by bringing a New, Unwrapped Toy to the train. The NS H-02 crew is moving the cars for the Train on Thursday from Boonton(URHS) to the NYSW interchange at Saddle Brook mid morning-noon via Montclair Line
to West End and the Bergen County Line.

Yes, I realized that the M&E would use the HB branch after I dug out my old Hagstrom map. I will be chasing and videoing at various points. Also have some goodies to donate. I used to attend the Lehigh Valley area TFT train shows until they stopped having them a few years back.Always a great time to get into the holiday spirit and see some trains as well.
