1868 Danvers Depot to be moved

Looks like there is a real plan, some funding and a bank willing to donate land to the cause; and of course the gift of the depot itself by the current owner, Townsend oil.

This certainly is good news! Hope it all goes well and the station will be completly restored, with attention to detail and authenticity.

We'll all be watching the progress.

I note that the location is almost where the depot was built originally! Actually the former enginehouse was about at this site, which was just north of the station.
