When are trackwork projects starting on the LAL?

Anyone heard of the date that the track work projects are going to start? There are plenty of ties. Also, has anyone heard of how the yard may change in Avon with the adding of Barilla?

I would guess this will begin early this summer. There may be a need to downsize the amount of cars along the line (Lakeville and Avon seem full) unless all track replacement is to be done in one fell swoop over the course of one day.

As for the yard configuration, I haven't heard anything yet. I suppose once more that the other half of Avon Yard, where the other siding used to be could become more yard track with the main going through? I don't know if that makes any sense.

None of this can be confirmed. I am merely guessing.

June has now popped and we are into the good weather, so I will ask again, if anyone knows, and is not speculating, when work will begin, let us all know. I would like to get some of it on film.
