The BAR units are either scrapped or sitting on the deadline in Northern Maine Junction, about 4 miles from where I am now. Several were involved in wrecks and cannibalized after they returned. These units still exist. What about the PNC units? 1702 made the rounds on several railroads. Where are they today?
It's amazing that as years go in and out, those ancient Geeps still percolate.
