Thank you. Was gonna go see it tomorrow after visiting Seashore Lines but there was a last minute change of plans. Gotta help out a friend.

In case you need an update, your beloved 5640 has replaced the 4403.

LOL. Could be worse. At least it's not 5628 or one of those other ones. Lots of incidents with some of those on the Southern. Some rather funny ones too!

Speaking of South Jersey power, did you happen to catch that CA11 the other day? Had NS 4079, two CSX SD40s, and SMS 1900. Was a little ticked off about not seeing that.

I believe so. Unsure of where it's headed. Out of state perhaps? Or getting transferred elsewhere? I know SMS has a couple engines here and there at the refineries. Most of which are 23s I think.

They have 3 B23-7’s including the Santa Fe one. The rest is Baldwins and the 2003.

Speaking of South Jersey power, what's up with all the SD40s in Camden right now?

At least 4 CSX SD40s and NS 3365 might be there too? Usually not this many AFAIK.

CA11 usually has a pair plus one usually is paired with an NS hi hood 38 on one of the yard switching jobs. Maybe another set for Westville at the old Coastal refinery which gets service during the week. Oh- I forgot, NJT 4210, the Erie heritage unit, is running on the AC Line.

With the Delair out of commission for a while, what's the alternate plan for rail service to South Jersey?
