Not sure what cars were empty/loaded but they had two NS 6 axle engines with them. (One GE, one EMD) However they weren’t MU’ed with 6228 and were just idling the whole time. Usually when they have local power in front they are MU’ed with the road power, but not this time. 6228 seemed to be working fairly hard but was pulling well otherwise. This was about 2 maybe 3 years ago.

I have also recently seen CSX 6201 take 50 or so loaded tanks out of Port Reading and shove them about a mile or so down to Buckeye by itself, albeit I believe it’s ever so slightly downhill there. This was last week.

Not entirely familiar with Brown's Yard operations, I often wonder about the long trains coming across the Raritan going to Brown's. Other than the cars going to Red Bank andJamesburg, what are some of the other customers who get these cars? I don't get out that way often, so I have little chance of seeing for myself. Thanks.

It's Monday. Anything coming up to Jamesburg? Yard looks like it's full of empties. From what I can see from bordentown Ave.

SA31 already ran today, they got back to Browns around the same time DRR came back west to Jamesburg. They should have left 2 Builders and 10 Woodhaven on the Hightstown Ind. On Friday SA31 left 1 Builders, 1 Prestone, 1 Laird, 2 Woodhaven. Tomorrow should have 12 for Lakewood.

Oh so I was looking at the wrong location. The Jamesburg wye was empty because they are sitting on the Hightstown Ind track.

Yes, because, as everyone was so quick to point out, the wye isn't long enough for " big trains". FH-1 didn't return with any emptys, I suppose they left them in Freehold to be picked up on tomorrows return trip.
