Yes, all GP7s except for the 557.

Glad to see that the 557 is in good hands at RMNE.

So am I to understand that after all the glory and great railroading of the MEC it's come down to 2 or maybe 3 units left that are operational or potentially going to be restored to operations in the near future? The GP7 at CSRR, the RS3 at the RMNE and I think there's a GE -boat at CSRR??!? Wow...Hard to believe that so much has been lost. I just remembered that Mr. Clark has some Alco (?) units that were on the branch lines, including the Rockland Branch and the Lower Road, can't remember what they are.

The U-boat at CSRR is not ex-MEC, unfortunately. CSRR did have the opportunity to purchase one or two "genuine" ex-MEC U18Bs, both in fully operable condition, but chose not to. I'll leave it at that, since I've been scolded in the past for bringing it up.

There are quite a few other ex-MEC diesels still in existence, but in terms of diesels that were used in passenger service, the number of survivors is indeed quite small... and unless someone can tell me otherwise, I'm going to say that all of the "covered wagons" are indeed gone forever. The E7s definitely; and most likely the F3s as well.

I guess in some ways that's what makes the 470 so special. Maybe to some people that ride in '54 was really the end of passenger service. As MEC passenger service barely lasted into the diesel age in '60.

* Whatever Pan-Am/Guilford has that still is B&M... some engines perhaps? Boxcars and M of W equipment for sure.
Their GP9s are all B&M... that's it for engines.

I recall, and have (somewhere here in the rubble) a photo of a B&M coach in the Conway Scenic yard. I think the number was 214. Anyone know what became of it?

have not been done there for years since I use to sell at the fathers day show at Edaville RR. What happened to the B&M equipement down there? Wasn't there a steam loco(maybe a Pacific) and two or three coachs in the maroon paint scheme?
I know where the Yankee went to.
