Hey everyone:

1. How long will the comets stick around
2. Do ya'll think they'll do a "farewell to the comets" trip/s as they did for the AEM/ALP.
3.Which comet cars still have the 'original' interior (the brown seating)
4. treat this thread as a status report as well

The correct designation for these cars is JWC-II for the single door versions or SEPTA-II for the center door variants. Why and how remains a mystery lost to time.
1) No retirement date is set.
2) Probably not. Anything is possible for the right dollar amount, though, so start saving those pennies.
3) None
4) The cars run on regular assignments, which generally do not deviate.
