Any progress here Brian?
Is S&NC planning on doing anything with the old RS36?
Thanks for the reply. I've been hearing good things about the Peco actually. I am going to try it out.

Anyone know the status of the Atlas Flex Track? I know it was pretty hard to get a hold of for a while. Something with the factory in China I believe? Is it now available again, specifically the HO Scale Code 83?
Thanks,

Does anyone have any information on the Borst and Burnham Mill across from Cobleksill Coal? What kind of mill was it and was it always used as a mill or did it become something else later on in it's lifetime? Did it ever use rail service?
Thanks,

How large was the fleet of molasses cars the D&H had. What was the variety of tank cars that they used, and what was the time frame?
Thanks,

Oh OK. So I goes the per Diem car charges for having foreign cars on the property was deregulated too? So when did this deregulation go into effect?
Otto, Can you explain how that works? I remember reading something a few years ago where it was said that the home road's cars could only ship outgoing loads, and only pick up a return load if the load's destination was on the home roads rails. Is this accurate, and is if so, is this policy still in...
I think it was mostly for a paper mill the Ticonderoga branch. You can clearly see where it crossed NYS RTE 22 down by Lake Champlain, when you got south of the road that brings you to Fort TIconderoga. I think they ripped the tracks out in the very early 1980's
According to these photos, if they are accurate, they have at least 6 box cars stenciled SNC

oops. Make that 7 box cars
OK Brian. So Russ's bridge and your bridge are one and the same. Where is the cattle culvert? Have you been able to locate and/or acquire any photos of the line pre 1956 by now? I figure there were not too many photos at all and if there were they are scarce. I am going to make it a point to get up ...
well the thing is Russ, I don't know this for a fact, by any means, but after exploring Patrick Road a few times through the years to see what I could find that is left of the branch, it is quite obvious that once you start going south of Hyndsville, there has been numerous floods due to West Creek....
Yes Russ, that bridge south of Seward was long gone already in the late 1970's when I used to sneak down there as a little kid. I believe the overpass north of the crossing on the Warnerville Cut-Off Road was filled in around 1980ish. I did find a large, old pipe culvert still underneath the old ROW...
I only knew of the RT20 Bridge. Where is the other one? What kind of bridge is it? How for south of Luenburgh? yOU Can also still see the old cut in the ravine to the east of Warnerville Cut-Off, where they filed that through girder (??) in back in the 1970's or 1980'S.
what type of bridge was that one? Looks from google maps to be pretty long. I remember seeing it as a kid when we would walk the old ROW
