If I recall correctly, the Doylestown line got stations ADDED to their route,

Wasn't the cost paid for by a tiger grant or something similar? I know it was expensive but I was under the impression septa didn't pay for it out of pocket. Also the logic of the Doylestown and Norristown trains stopping does make sense, Norristown because there is no other connecting service, Doyl...
There was a set running about tonight between yards, rumor is approx 12 will be coming back very shortly, will post if I hear anything or see anything
Dispatchers don't dispatch like they used to, it has become normal for the computer to route the trains, which one goes first depends on which one hits the circuit for the interlocking signal first, yes there is still a human overlooking it, but it depends on whether they see it or are allowed to ov...
Your post is interesting, and you point out new technology AND more trains, the congestion will of course cause bottle necks, schedulers will add more padding into a timed run so any conflicts don't affect on time performance (this is done in all companies), the new technology has slowed trains down...
The full Marc set has an Amtrak engine on it
They at least found the latest defect while keeping a close eye on them, not many cars affected, Septa says they are still on track to bring the cars back within the stated timeline (I read into that, that the Equalizers are still being made and an adjustment for the defective pins will be implement...
The Amtrak equipment doesn't run on the Reading side, however you may see it go to Roberts Yard for layover before commencing a run to the Pennsy side (amfleet set goes as far as Suburban, likewise for the NJT set), some Septa sets have Marc car mixed in and those do run on the Reading side. All thi...
Yesterday the set that was going to Doylestown ended up on a stub track at suburban
There is a 4 car set running between Elwyn and Doylestown this weekend, 738 was one of the cars
And don't forget Septa contracts the tellers out, they are not Septa employees, your complaint should be directed at the right company, although Septa should also have input into how many tellers at a location are available as well as the oldest complaint being opening hours of the offices.
Let's try to make it to Wawa first, they at least started on that even though it's taking forever, back to the Cynwyd line, they are putting a lot of money into the new connection so it is probably safe to say the riders on that line are safe for a while yet (once the SLVs are back), there is a lot ...
There was a 4 car set on Fox Chase to Chestnut Hill West and a 6 car set on Norristown to Wilmington
Last night the 5:05pm from Suburban to Norristown TC was a set of push pull equipment, that train came back as a Malvern train, had 2 MARC cars mixed in and a Septa Engine
