With the M&E not getting to keep the tourist operations in Maine, is all that power they bought last year now considered surplus power and will not be worked on?

a csx train did strike a large tree during the wind storm. Im pretty sure it was in harrington park also.

so im not the only one who got the letter with nothing to follow. I even had a friend use his dad to find out who to contact at HR. I called and left messages, not even a return phone call.

NYSW only connects to NS at Marion and I can't see them handing off the traffic there. I'd be skeptical of that. I think Binghamton is more likely I only mentioned what was posted. NYSW has recently put in another long siding that parallels the main from north of Paterson Plank Rd south to the Mari...

Im surprised it has taken this long. I know NJTPD has been trying to get into NY Penn for a long time under the latest chief who used to be PAPD chief. NJTPD are alot closer to the NY/rockland county stations then the MTAPD are.

Someone mentioned on a nysw fb group or yahoo group that NYSW has an agreement in place with Conrail for interchange traffic at CP marion for intermodals from the port.

WS stands for West Shore, the line (Riverline) was first called the New York, West Shore & Buffalo Railroad. There is a granite marker down at the Tonnelle ave park and ride from when it was removed from the old tunnel when it was rehabbed for the hblr.

lol those monk parakeets are loud!!! They had taken over a huge transformer on a pole years ago, you couldn't even see the transformer anymore cause of the nest. PSE&G removed it, guess they like there new digs better.
