I guess we shall see later this year, since SEPTA is planning to have selected ppl do a test of the new NPT...But they sure is taking forever with the upgraded turnstiles and vending machines. I know the SmartCards have already been ordered a good 1,000,000 Million of them. I wonder what happens whe...

This is a disaster waiting to happen like one gentleman at the board meeting said what happens if they are on the wrong side of the platform and need to cross over and have to re tap nonsense. Those new turnstiles can go in the subways screw it. SEPTA Should have known before signing the contract th...

I was just coming here to see if anything had been posted. I read it. I'll be honest I'm still on the fence about ride cap, stupid I know but. SEPTA did some leeway by upping the ride cap +6 on weekly passes and +40 on monthlys and having the weekly's on Airport Line until NPT on RR Side. Also $24 w...

It was discussed at the meeting that SEPTA had to follow rules from the state regarding senior citizens fare. I wonder if they are rethinking any of the concerns that the ppl spoke about.

I went to the board meeting last night. And I will say SEPTA got their ears banged lol. they main concerns and complaints was the turnstiles , and ride caps. everyone voiced the opinion and also the fact that their reader won't tell how much left kn the card after you swipe. I voiced my opinion. and...

I guess. I was under the impression that all faregates at subway stops would be replaced with new ones, and the adds of them on the RRD. I SAY GET ALL NEW ONES..I THINK the current ones are ugly.

As the label on the picture points out, that type of modern gate is only going to be used for the wheelchair-accessible part of each fareline. The rest of the gates will be old-fashioned turnstiles, with card readers attached to them. I thought SEPTA WAS REPLACING ALL THE FAREGATES.? AND ADA ..TROL...

I for a fact know most of SEPTA's passengers have a credit or debit card and a 1/2 don't. I don't see it as being a risk, that goes beyonds SEPTA 's concern. The technology is changing quickly ...I don't even carry cash unless I goto a club, haircut , or just the corner store. Everything else is deb...

Was on SEPTA's website going through some news related to NPT and a newsletter released on April 11 had a pic of the prototype of the fare gate. I think there is a artist rendering around here not sure. but I think the faregate looks cool .

I just dont understand. TVMS Would be much easier for passengers to just buy tickets because we all know the outlying stations don't have ticket offices. SEPTA better think what's best for passengers but I doubt it. Now for the faregates does anyone have a idea of what they will look like ? At 19th ...
