I think I have a list of the present lease units CMQ is using right now. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. 19 total units (if my count is right). GP38-3 / GP38M-3 (EMD) 4x CEFX 419, 420, 3803, 6537 2x LTEX 3812, 3815 GP35U (EMD) 13x LTEX 2516, 2522, 2525, 2535, 2540, 2542, 2550, 2556, 2558, 256...

The other problem right now is that CMQ would also need some passenger cars. I know there are some old BAR passenger cars left at Derby including Burnt Hill but how much work would be need to fix them up. I don't think any of them have ran since MMA took over. Think around that time most of the pass...

It been hard to keep track of the CMQ Locomotives. Beside 502 and 2005 being stored at Derby, 2001 and 2002 on the Rockland Branch, 2003 on the Searsport Branch, and the barns on job 1 and 2 the rest of CMQ owned units 2004, 2006, and 3057 can be about anywhere on the system with the exception of th...

At the most, 4 B23's are in service, one of the 2 (2002, I think) in Rockland suffered freeze damage and has been OOS for almost a year. 2005 never ran for CMQ, as you note. I believe 2003 is also OOS, and has been for a while. I did not know about 2002, but I do know from a picture Jeff Bray post ...

Been looking into this when I have some free time. From what I can tell and feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Right now CMQ owns 19 engines. Some are inactive and others are being used for parts. 1x F3A EMD. BAR 502 inactive 6x B23-7 GE. 5x active CMQ 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, & 2006 1x dead ...

Well good news on the Derby front. Kevin Burkholder posted last night on Facebook the CMQ and Milo have worked out a deal. CMQ is moving fueling and locamotive service to Brownville Juction, but car and locamotive repaired stay in Derby. They just going use a small area of the shop and renovating it.

Is there any up date on how the GP 38-3 are coming along at AMP? I noticed that Kevin Burkholder posted on Facebook that PRLX 2856, PRLX 2858, and LTEX 3280 were sent back on November 1, but the five CMQ B23-7 are still going strong. I did not know if this meet the GP 38-3 are coming along, or if th...

I found this article from the Piscataquis Observer about it this morning. Sound like the town of Milo is going to demo the present Derby shop after buying it from MMA for a dollar, and CMQ is in talks about buy some of the land and building on it. It may not be a bad thing for CMQ they will get a be...

Noted in the photo caption is that the Derby Shops have been sold to the town of Milo and will be bulldozed. That is sad to hear. I know that CMQ did not own it but dose CMQ have another shop or plan to build another shop on its lines? I do not know the Canada side of the line, but thinking about i...

I know this dose not answer the question of how owns BAR 502, but it's still looking good in this picture.

It will be good to see 502 running the rails of Maine again. Even in the two tone gray scheme it would look good with CMQ new paint scheme. Really looking forward of getting some pictures the next time I am back.

Just saw this on the Eastern Maine Model Railroad Club Facebook page and it's not bad for the first draft. It's CMQ 9021 SD-40-2F in the new paint schemes. Looks great.
