Hopefully it may be a deal to get CMQ by till the AC4400s are ready to go sence from what I have heard there also from CITX. Fingers crossed. CMQ has been moving power around lately. With 2001 (OOS but sounds like it’s going to Derby for repairs), 2002, and now 2006 on the Rockland Branch. Which lea...

Just saw this on a Facebook post by Harry Gordon. At least 3 GP20D are being leased. CEFX 2001, 2015, and 2028. Surprise to see GP20D back. CMQ must really need more power.

Was wondering how many Russell Snow Plows from Iron Works and MMA Days dose CMQ still have running. I remember last winter they used VB 152 (Old BAR x52 ?) and VB 103 (old CP 401008). I also read that they pick up ME 64525 when they took over the Rockland Branch no clue if it’s still in use. Are any...

Has CMQ still been using CITX locomotives 3071 and 3091 or are they back to being stored at Derby? Have not hear much about them sence 3053 and 3082 left for Ohio.

Too add to KSmitty posted. 3 weeks ago there was a lot of talk on CMQ Facebook pages about these locomotives. It was mention by Kevin Burkholder that CMQ may buy some of these engines but it depends. More then likely the factors KSmitty mention.

Your welcome. And Thank you and the other sources I credit for there help and information to make it. I just updated it because missed two of the GP20D. Both didn't run to long for CMQ.

Read a post last night that CITX 3082 has left CMQ and that CITX 3053 will be heading out soon. Both are going to OhIo to another Fortuess owned railroad. I am just speculating on this part, but hopefully that means eather some more lease power is coming soon or maybe 9004 or 9022 or both will be b...

For what it's worth, CMQ never had the paper mills in Maine as customers, so they never had to lose them either, which allows them to focus on other things. Good point. It's nice to see CMQ going after everything they can from the big players to the little guys. Note logs being shipped on the Seapo...

Unfortunately, that's the reality of being a shortline that's rapidly growing business. And the GP38-3 program hasn't been very successful, with only four on the property after well over a year, and issues with them. True on that. It's nice seeing CMQ growing as fast as it is with the number of mil...
