I think it's terrific that they've repainted this loco into a heritage scheme. (did any B&M GP9's ever wear maroon and gold paint?) Wonder if there was ever any consideration to giving the unit back its original number, 1738. I guess this effort was meant to create more of a "stand in" to represent an era... would be nice to see the original number however.
