My NJ Black Seal Boiler Operator license expires this month, so good citizen that I am, I go online to see how to renew the license. Everything still the same, as far as where to send it, etc.

The fee has doubled. Used to be $40 for a 3-year renewal, now it's $80. And $300 to renew it if you are late.

The URL is a mile long, so Google, "State of NJ, Pressure Vessel License Renewal" and the link for the renewal application is right there on the opening page. You have to print out the app, fill it out, and send in with a certified check or money order, no commercial or personal checks.

I wonder of it's worth it. I renewed, so I have 3 years to decide.

There is no link for renewing a "locomotive" or "portable" license, just use the link for "stationary" licenses. Same app.
