Recieved a web advisory @1634hrs that bussing is in effect on the Waterbury line due to"mechanical problems" and MAY (key word) continue through the evening. Can't be sure if the 125 is responsible or not,but can be sure if busses are running the 125 ain't!

CDOT 125 experienced HEP failure. Waterbury Branch will be bussed for the rest of the day. If they can get the HEP running again, you may see 125 return.

From the Brookville Web Site
-------------
Another big production focus is on the BL20GH 132-ton switcher locomotives for the Metro-North Railroad. This order included a total of twelve (12) locomotives with two different paint schemes. The first four (4) in New Haven colors have already shipped and the last two (2) will be leaving shortly. The first Metro-North paint scheme is currently in the painting process. The rest of the Metro-North locomotives are well into their build-up phases.

Stay in-tune to Brookville Equipment’s updates as in the near future there will also be similar locomotives following different color schemes for MTA and the Staten Island Railroad.

Looks interesting..... First Metro North loco comming along

Well, the 125 didn't last too long. It was replaced for this morning's service on the Waterbury branch by none other than -- an FL9! 2026 is listed for the Waterbury branch this morning.

Well yesterday, Bl20-GH 125 was at Mott Haven on track 7 coupled onto FL-9 2016. The Fl-9 was idling and the BL20 had it engine shut down.

Great shot Fred! The FL9 paint looks great considering how clean and fresh 125 is sitting next to it. Even though it is clearly a modified scheme, 125 is sporting a really nice paint job for a new engine.

Any word on what happened to 125? Dutch?

FL9: "Young Whipersnappers trying to replace me. HAH!"

And the beat goes on...
