Yesterday Morning NS piled up a UPS train in Burns Harbor, IN. Amtrak Detoured on the South Shore from Kensington, IL to Michigan City, IN

I wonder how many Christmas presents Santa had on those cars? What a mess.

i heard that they ran a lot of intermodals over the csx mainline between chicago and cleveland.

Any word on what caused it?

Nothing official yet however "Broken Rail or Broken drawbar" was mentioned.
