Nells, there was talk of a 80 to 90 car unit Ethanol train coming to Boston......they wanted to try to do it in Boston but couldn't because the Ethanol process needs to be done near water. The first site proposed was the old First Street Yard in South Boston, where the Boston Railway Terminal was. The problem was accessing this site because they couldn't get a train of that size down there due to it's location. The next proposed site was over at the New England Produce Center, which is why they supposedly wanted to purchase the Fitchburg. This way the unit train could come from Selkirk to Worcester to CP-45 to Ayer and down the Fitchburg Main to the Boston Terminal North and over to the NEP. Boy can they dream big, lol.

So that's who got it. Where are the cars coming from Dave, CSXT @ Worcester? When is this supposed to begin? I haven't heard much lately.
