Some equipment will move by rail, some will be trucked out. It will take time, though, and RMNE is short on volunteers to make it happen. Brakes need to be inspected, other items need to be tarped and stabilized. RMNE is ALWAYS looking for an extra hand to help out, work parties are generally at Old Saybrook site on Saturdays. Go to www.rmne.org and go to "contact us" to get in touch with the museum to offer your help (and hopefully you can find some folks who are better in tune than I to explain the whole situation to you).
