I wasn't able to save them from the Webex public event. And for whatever reason, the Port Authority hasn't posted them. Someone on Airliners.net had a couple of the slides posted. Basically what is going to happen is that they are going to build a massive headhouse over where the old Terminal A still sits, the short term surface lots and most of the central terminal area. They will then have multiple concourses coming off the new head house. The plan had differnt versions, some showed the concourses all connected above ground while others depicted concourses connected underground like Atlanta or Denver. The concourses cover what is now the current Terminal B and all the way over what Terminal C. is currently. 4 or five concourses.

So for the next 2+ decades, passengers going to terminals B and C should have their hiking boots on for the trek they'll be making from the monorail to the terminal

Option 2 looks to be the most aggressive, which is hopefully what they go with. Basically in 7-10 they will have replaced Terminal B, and the headhouse part of Terminal C with a new facility leaving the current Terminal C concourses which would be physically connected to the new large Terminal B. The Terminal C headhouse was constructed in the '70s as were Terminal B and Terminal A. However, it was mostly vacant until the C-1 and C-2 concourses were opened in 1988, the C-3 concourse opened in 2002.

With the progress made at LaGuardia and the rapid pace of the new projects at Kennedy airport EWR needs to keep up. The Terminal B project needs to move forward now, and be operational by the beginning of the next decade.
